Spectrum Imports is a family owned and operated wholesale company that has been importing coloured gemstones since 1981. Daniel, the founder of the company, developed a passion for coloured stones while traveling through many gemstone producing countries including Colombia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. He decided to make a career out of this passion and in 1988 Daniel received his Graduate Gemology degree from GIA and officially started Spectrum Imports. Having grown up around gemstones, Nicole and Leila, two of Daniel's daughters, eventually began working for the company while pursuing their own education in gemology. Together, our family-run business with its quality, value, and prompt and personal service, has led us to become one of the largest gemstone wholesale companies in western Canada.
